I've been wearing compression stockings for years, an find that this is an excellent suspender belt for them, with really firm wide straps and eliable metal clasps. I wear my stockings as high as possible on my legs, and like them to be suspended tautly. In order for the front suspenders to be nice and taut, and not loose tension when bending rorward, I had a seamstress shorten them up to a little more than half the original length. Upon being told by my Doctor, that I should wear compression hose, he suggested thigh high due to my PAD peripheral artery disease. I wondered how best to hold them up. I didn't think I could wear the ones with elastic at the top, cause that would defeat the purpose. Thank God, I stumbled upon this garter belt.... It's not "Girlie" and stays put with out undue pressure or binding.Quality Price Value
